Corporate Social Responsibility

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept whereby companies integrate Social, Environmental and Ethical concerns into their business operations.

CSR activities include efforts to protect the environment, helping children workers to get an education, providing workers with a safe service to the local community.

By adopting CSR, companies increase their contribution to sustainable development. Many companies have already lost important contracts due to the fact that they did not live up to the customers' Code of Conducts. Such CSR requirements will only be more widespread in the future.

IES will help companies develop their Codes of Conduct that they require for their international suppliers and business partners to fulfill as a precondition for cooperation. Codes of conduct typically establish minimum standards on various CSR issues.
